Cassandra Mondesir, M.S. is a registered psychology associate and 4th-year doctoral candidate in the Psy.D. program at Loyola University Maryland. Her approach to therapy is culturally humble, insight-oriented, and trauma-informed. She has had a diverse range of training and learning opportunities including working with incarcerated members and immigrant populations. She has a passion for holistic wellness and her interests lie in providing therapeutic services to adults who have experienced trauma, experiencing difficult life transitions, familial conflicts, relationship issues, and anxiety. Cassandra leverages the client’s past experiences to conceptualize present thinking and utilizes the therapeutic relationship as a space for corrective relational and emotional experiences. Her style is collaborative and relational meaning that she meets clients where they are, listens intently, and prioritizes the development of a trusting relationship. It is her belief that the goal of therapy is to uncover truths, acquire agency, and foster a corrective emotional experience.
